I AM NOT OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS.
I'm currently involved in a commercial project and a day job that does not give me the time to take private/freelance commissions.

If you are inquiring about a commercial project (i.e. Illustrating your book) please contact me directly at mcolecommissions@gmail.com.

I need a break :XD: I just spent a lot of energy on getting the book done and I'm burnt right now.

I do plan on re-opening again sometime before Anthrocon because I might want to offer badge/ portraits ahead of time. But this year is particularly busy for me. I can't say I know if and when I'm definitely opening them just yet XD

I appreciate the interest though!

Well I suppose I will just have to keep a look out for it. I am still debating on snatching up a book since I am a huge fan of yours and from what I have seen of the project I know it will be great.

Take care and I will keep an eye out :)

Unfortunately, I'm broke right now, but I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding people to commission you. I wish you luck! :aww:

You're welcome! :cuddle: My husband is looking for a second job (or just something better all around). And he's making his second? third? trip back to college. lol We'll be fine. I believe God will take care of everything for us in the end if we just stay faithful and do what we can do while he does what we can't. :)

Mmm, I'm wondering. If I was to get a lineart and one of the two character's involved was an infant, would it still be 10 dollars extra?

I'm not trying ta' rip you off, it just makes the difference between one or two weeks before I can afford it. XD

(You know when I asked you if you had drawn a fat skunk before? I'm going to fix that for you. XDDD )

If it's a baby and it's not too complicated, I could shave off a few dollars and make it $5 for the additional character.

the commissioner and I exchange paypal information through notes, and the commissioner sends me payment through paypal. I do not start the commission until after I receive the confirmation email that payment has been received.

i envy you americans. in my country, freelancers won't get paid that much ;)

well but the cost of living is slightly lower too. so we can still have proper life with what we earn. but we need extra effort if we want to save up for some luxuries :giggle:

aww maybe it's because I live in the country too... where there are a lot of people that pay high dollar for portraits of their animals XD I used to live in the city where the cost of living was lower- so I can empathize. :cuddle:

Wow! You are cheap! I think I will seriously look into you. I have a little "piggy bank" (actually it is a Pringles can) that I could spend on you. Let me think about it just to be sure I can afford it.

Local and business commissions. Right now I'm working with two local businesses on a graphic design commission, and a local screen printing shop. I also charge higher for my pet and human portraits like this one [link] done in oil. These usually run from $120.00- $500.00 depending on canvas size and composition. The commissions I offer here on deviantART are priced to the average going rate for the mediums used. Though with the economy flopped, they may go up soon. Plus, I'm not offering realism here like my oils, which are somewhat easier to do, but more time consuming. Time is of the essence. :)

I do not think my art would ever be worth that much money. c.c'

Well, I better hurry up and decide what to do, whether to commission you or not and if I do... what in the world I would commission you to do.

Fortunately US is not Europe where taxes are sometimes 80% of the gas's price...

120$ for a cover... I think mine wouldn't be worth 20$...

I'm starting to feel sucky, the most I got for one picture was $8 for a picture of two people down to knees and some quite easy background.

Nobody commissioned me after that:(
I've been waiting for a month to open my bank account and neither acceptaion nor rejection came, so I can't open a PayPal account.
