This is The Emperor of Ancient Hunshu-- The last to rule in the Koban Dynasty; and Suchow's worst nightmare.
The story of Ting Tang Too has alot of different Asian influences; most prominantly Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. I have yet to develop backgrounds and scenery but you can feel the essence of these cultures in the Hunshuian Characters.
Siamese cats are supposed to have originated from the land of Saim (modern day Thailand). But Chinese and Japanese customs are fun to incorperate into the melting-pot of culture these cats have.

About The Piece One of my main objectives of the year is to understand digital coloring better....and it is very hard to do when you are limited to using a mouse T_T --I had fun playing around with cool complementary colors for the shadows in this one.
Xaio's Biography Full Name: Emperor Xaio Sozhou Kunghu of Koban Age: 37 (in cat years) 5 (in human years) Astrology: Aires / Leo Breed: Traditional Seal-Point Siamese Role in Ting Tang's Story: Emperor Xiao was the last to rule of the Koban Dynasty one thousand years ago in Hunshu. He was greedy, egotistical, and neglectful of the well-being of his people. He was extremely envious of his highest royal advisor, Suchow Too of Sakoro. His envy and lust for power eventually brought Xiao to his own demise and loss of his life to the Legendary Storm.
He's so pretty! In that kinda... "Back off, pup" sorta way. The posture and the expression of his whole body are quite dominating. He's so... GAH! I love it!
I have no clue why this isn't in my faves already! his stance is so powerful and graceful, the markings on his face are beautiful, and.. well, the sword is just plain cool. I really do love those markings, though. I think it's a unique take on the traditional markings, and it goes very well with his character.
Reeeaaally liking the design of this guy. The colours work so well together! The green/yellow/flesh(fur) balance seems perfect to me. And I love the 'oof' in the clothes.
