Well I had made this a while back just for fun and practice with the latest digital technique I've been developing.

It's not an official FA banner... I mean I sent it in for review, but no replies as of yet. But regardless of what happens, it was fun and so I thought I would share

I'm at my cousin's house right now- I don't have much internet access at the moment

y'know? I'd love to see this end up being a banner for January, it's by far one of the nicest designs I've seen yet :3

I find the text a little bit out of place especially with the white border. Have you tried using an outer glow in Photoshop (or similar in other softwares)? I believe it might help make the text stand out, but not with a very hard edge.

This is just my opinion obviously so others may beg to differ.

I really like the image itself though, a different style from your usual style, being more light hearted in appearance.

It would be fun it this one was chosen. I didn't know that banners were open to submissions though. I thought the admins picked an artists and asked for them to make a banner.

Wow this is beautiful

I don't know how they choose banners but I really hope yours gets chosen! It's one of the most well-done ones I've seen up there. Such a neat atmosphere going on in the colors and scenery
