Acrylic Paint and I livestreamed some of the painting this past Monday. And Unfortunately I couldn't get the time to launch another stream while I finished him last night it was a busy day yesterday.
Some Explainations
No Cabbage? - Well the answer to that question comes with the title "Part 1" There is a Part 2....and I'm working on it
What about the Patch Together Resin Figurine? - I still haven't gotten enough votes and feedback on the figurine concept for the site to consider production of my design. (Meaning, they sculpt it, cast it, and make toys that you can buy and have your own little Jack sitting on your shelf). But since I wanted to contribute this to an Illustration Project, I decided to make a slightly modified version by hand by myself
PLEASE STILL VOTE & VIEW --> [link] Even if you don't want to make an account to vote or comment, if you at least view the page, it will still count towards something Thank you everyone for your continued support!
I had fun photographing the sculpture in my backyard
The painting job is a marvel! I always presumed that paint and sculpey diden't coporate, you've proved me wrong!
Great photo angles by the way.
Sorry to bother you with an inquiry, but did you put a darker blue to shadow the folds of his shirt, or is it just the normal blue paint in the crevasses of the sculpture?
aww thank you As for the folds and crevasses, I actually used a watered down dark brown (very watered down acrylic paint) to the point where it's almost like watercolor, and spread it around the areas. Then I just wipe away excess with a paper towel
