SEASONS GREETINGS from the Characters of TING TANG TOO 3 A Year to Remember!

After an entire month of work, this piece is finally finished. The process was tiring from the start with the background itself taking me ten hours to draw, scan, and paint---with a mouse. (I am poor and I don’t have a tablet—so I am forced to do all of my digital work with a mouse.) Then, I began work on each of my original characters featured in this piece. With this new style change (rather than my usual play on line weight) I had to carefully detail each aspect of the painting—and then erase every time I crossed over a line, which is quite easy to do when you are using a mouse. I spent three or four hours on each cat—coloring alone, as for line art maybe an hour. I really put my will into this piece of mine. My strength was never in background so I made an extra special effort to draw it realistically using me right brain—instead of my cartoony left side. I really wanted to do something special for this year’s Christmas. So here is my heart and soul—my labor of love on paper….for you to enjoy.

The Scene
......Everyone is warm and cozy at Grandfather's house. Christmas cookies are baked, the smell of hot coco in the air, and a few visitors from school decide to drop by and share a Christmas moment with the Too family.......
