This is where the gap in the bridge between the human behavior and animal anatomy come together. The shoes are worn on the toes and are built much like a platformed clog (even for the males). The heel of the foot actually functions to be like the back of the shin, which is included in the pants. So essentially, everyone walks on their toes.

While at home, the animals have no need to really dress up so hanging around the house without outfits on is a common thing. Dressing up is only necessary when going out.

Jack, so frustrated with buttoning his shirt has no clue his son is playing in his shoes behind him..........what little kid has ever not wanted to try on daddy's shoes?
