Illustration for Part 1 of The Tortoise and the Hare, which can be read HERE.
This is depicting the scene where Tortoise consults Madame Agnes Fox for help with a way to beat Hare in the last race. Madame Fox has more than enough answers up her sleeve, but this one in particular fits most appropriately in her twisted mind..... a vanity curse.  FINALLY after 3 times drawing her, I've captured the creepiness I wanted with Madame Fox  I'm not a creepy drawing person-- so out of my genre but I think I nailed it this time.I've also decided that I want to do one big full color Illustration for each part (six parts I'm predicting) and a whole bunch of these monotone smaller Illustrations here and there. Enough to get the fun bits drawn without overworking myself. Thanks for looking  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
