Final Book Cover for what has been known as "Jack Hare's Story"
To be continued with literature and illustration by yours truly.

All Tortoise & Hare stuff can be found here--> [link]

Again I want to thank everyone so much for all of the wonderful and helpful feedback through the Work in Progress. This was put in color tonight during a livestream session and I also want to thank the folks that hung out to watch

There are still things that may be fixed and changed with this, but for the most part, it's done.

The composition is supposed to flow in a backwards "C", The emphasis does jump to Tortoise first but with respect to the title having him mentioned first....it makes sense. Jack is still a very prominent figure in the balance and exposes his charm & attitude with his confident smile.

Having too much atmosphere really just made things messy. That's why I've kept it more simple and clean.

:) I watched on livestream just a bit... you were nearly done I think, but cool to see some touches get added.

The sound was indeed fixed, and the swing music was awesome!

Not really my taste of music, and the red tie most certainly looks better then the blue one.

It was nice to see a program like Photoshop being used for something different for which I would use it. And it was nice to watch wile trying to stay awake during the night shift.

Thank you :)

I still must try this underpainting technique. Everyone keeps saying it's great and I still haven't given it a try yet =D
Your piece looks awesome, as always!

Lovely! What method did you use to get those deep blacks? Because in the wip, the supposed deep blacks are on a brighter value.

Well done!

Well all I can say to that is: 'The enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend.'

Why isn't obama on FAIL BLOG yet?
