As part of consistency development for the story, I doodled this up to sequence the life of Jack and Bernadette in a sort of homey childrens' book like presentation. I also did this because there are a lot of things I value in real life in this piece: some of these things I am disappointed with today's day and age. The value of long term commitment, loyalty, perseverance, unconditional love, and honesty seem to have gone south these days. I guess you can't achieve these things if you can't find the right person......so many people think they are sure on someone, but then turn around and get divorced a few years later. In all of the life long couples I've met, I find a very acute and particular pattern. The couples were friends long before they married, some of which, actually played together as kids, and others were high school sweethearts. But the important thing was being friends first.
It's strange but I notice that people who go right for thinking romantic, and actually looking for that right person.....seem to have the hardest time finding someone to spend the rest of their lives with and be 100% sure about it. I guess the battle of Love vs lust has a play in that. But anyway..............................................
About the "Mature" Content So you will notice I threw something in that could be questionably "naughty"....but indeed it's meant more to be innocent and logical. Pro-creation dudes.....I mean.....come on.......babies don't come from storks Unless they are stork babies. And I really didn't fancy drawing a preggo Bernadette for this one. Jack's fat ass takes up too much room anyway If you feel this needs a mature content tag, please let me know.
The Last Panel It made me want to cry I think mostly because like my grandparents married for so long.... I hope that one day I can grow old with someone
