Yesterday, the kids in my Third grade class were making "winter creatures" with cut paper. They were allowed to do snowmen, penguins, elves, santa, reindeer, or other woodland creatures that were nice, Each creature had to have one celebration element. (could be any holiday or tradition you celebrate in winter.
There is one little Jewish boy in the class and he felt a little left out with everyone making Christmas themed critters. So I had the brilliant idea to make a Moose with candles for antlers to look like a menorah.
The cheeky boy says to me, "FINALLY someone makes something for Chanukah!"
xD
I really liked the idea so much, I wanted to take it a bit further and test out my new Adobe Photoshop CS6.
It forces me to be very painty....I like it.
May your winter be filled with warmth and light

His nose looks so soft *cuddles it*
This is an amaaaazing piece this one is!
Love the expression, the use of colour on the image is very much like his facial expression. Kind of dull or demotivating - but it still afterglow is very nice, the ambiance very spirited. And his face begins to turn to an expression of content. He seems wise, still a little dulled out - but somewhat just chilled. Inner thoughts may be with the creature on this fine night.
He's gorgeous. And your work is fantastic! LOVE it!
It's the kind of Christmas image that doesn't necessarily have to be about Christmas too.
♥EXCELLENT keep it up Marilyn =]
Yours is way Awesomer!!!!
