Some people have a very hard time breaking things down from realism-- and others don't. So I thought I'd do a little demo just to spell it all out

All it is -is taking life and breaking it own into simpler shapes and then exaggerating them. The further you exaggerate- the more you distort the truth, and the less real it becomes. Cartoon seems to go on many different levels--- and not always is the most exaggerated the most easy.
You just gotta have the perspective for it

LOL I thought This highly animated face expression of Mr. Shafer's would be a perfect example-- so you can see how the animators in our cartons today are inspired by real life.
