OMFGHOLYMOLEY It's done Done entirely by hand and colored with a roller ball mouse....and yes my hand needs a long break... it's back to traditional for me for a while XD
I must have put at least 14 hours into this, but I'm happy to say I'm soooooo ready to move on. I want to start working on the next comic that I drew but still needs to be put together and colored
Characters Featured from top left- Robert Tarley, Alex Slick, Mr. Hollingsworth, and Mr. Shafer. Chelsea Post and..... ME
I used some of the stock photos and textures I took back during the photo shoot with Mr. Shafer. Ehh what can I say, I love textures
I'm still fiddling around with the Text- I don't think I have it in quite right yet. I will be editing this.
I really like how you made all the characters look both real and cartoony. The shading is really done well, especially on the teachers in the back. The only thing that doesn't really seem to fit is the male student on the left. He seems a bit too cartoony for the whole scene, though I know you decided on characters before you began, so it should be okay. The girl on the left toward the front (I cannot remeber her name xD; ) has an odd shaped hand, though seeing that the cartoon Marilyn's hands are similar, I suspect it's part of your theme. Though, I know hands are really hard.
I love the other girl's expression. The teeth are really well done and the extended smile bring out her inner dork. xDD
I was very impressed when i saw this and read the description , i can't believe this is done by hand! i also like how the shading and the work on the depth stuff and all that other stuff looks so nice , this is defenetly something i wanne Read . other stuff i like are the charchters and the Background , again im very impressed that this is done by hand without hightech stuff . props to you really , keep up the good work . lorem lipsim sit dolore im to lazy to write 20 more words and im tired so badly i need a rest and a bbq
Oh this is just ironic, my Math teacher was named Mr. Shafer!
I love the work you did here, with the paint-ish shading and really the way you did it reminds me of Marvel/DC comics (don't remember) in a cartoonish kinda way.
If anything I think the girl in red's eyes look really similar to the guy in blueish-purple's. I don't know if that was intended or not, unless they're siblings but it looked really awkward to me.
I love the other girl's expression. The teeth are really well done and the extended smile bring out her inner dork. xDD
Excellent job overall. Keep up the good work!
